    Step 01 · Wallet Setup

    Get Your Crypto Wallet

You can't trade without a wallet. Think of it as your personal digital backpack — it holds your money and signs every trade you make. Without one, you can't connect to any trading site.

    Why Phantom?

Phantom is the most popular Solana wallet. Clean app, beginner-friendly, supports the widest range of trading sites. Best starting point if you've never used a crypto wallet before.

    Why Backpack?

Backpack is built by ex-FTX engineers and focuses on security and advanced features. Pick this if you plan to hold larger amounts or want a second wallet just for storage.

    Save your seed phrase properly

When you create a wallet you'll get 12 secret words. Write them on paper and lock it away. Never type them into a website. Anyone with those words owns your money — there is no password reset.

    Quick Checklist

    • Download the wallet from the official site only
    • Write your 12-word seed phrase on paper, never digital
    • Send a small test amount of SOL before depositing more

    Warning

Never share your seed phrase with anyone — not support, not a friend, not a website. Real teams will never ask for it.

    Pro Tip

Use two wallets: one small 'hot' wallet for daily trading, one bigger 'cold' wallet for savings.

    Step 02 · Trading Platforms

    Connect to a Trading Platform

Regular crypto websites are slow and clunky. Professional traders use specialized platforms that load charts faster, show better data, and let you buy or sell in one click. These are the three we actually use — pick one to start, add the others as you grow.

    BullX — best all-rounder

Web-based trading terminal with great charts, wallet tracking, sniper presets, and a clean interface. The easiest jump from a normal exchange. Works on desktop and mobile browser. Start here if you're new.

    Padre — pro multi-chain terminal

Built for serious operators. Trade Solana, Ethereum, Base and more from a single dashboard with advanced order types (limit, DCA, trailing stop), built-in wallet tracking, and pro-grade analytics. Pick this when you want one place to run everything.

    Trojan — ultra-fast web terminal

Originally famous as a bot, Trojan has evolved into a high-speed web terminal. It brings lightning-fast execution directly to your browser with advanced routing and sniper features, keeping you ahead of the market.

    How to connect

Open the platform → click 'Connect Wallet' (or sign in with Telegram) → pick Phantom or Backpack → approve. Deposit some SOL into your trading wallet and you're ready to go.

    Click-by-Click Setup

    BullX

    Web · Browser
    1. 1Open bullx.io and click 'Get Started' top-right
    2. 2Choose 'Sign in with Telegram' and approve the login
    3. 3Click 'Deposit' and copy your generated SOL address
    4. 4Send SOL from Phantom/Backpack to that address
    5. 5Search a token by name or paste a contract address to trade

    Padre

    Web · Multi-Chain
    1. 1Open padre.gg and click 'Launch App' top-right
    2. 2Click 'Connect Wallet' and pick Phantom (or Backpack)
    3. 3Sign the verification message — no SOL is spent
    4. 4Pick your chain (Solana, ETH, Base) from the top toggle
    5. 5Paste a contract address, set slippage 1–3%, and trade

    Trojan

    Web · Browser
    1. 1Open the Trojan Web Terminal and click 'Connect Wallet'
    2. 2Select Phantom or Backpack and approve the connection
    3. 3Deposit SOL into your dedicated Trojan trading wallet
    4. 4Set your default slippage and gas settings
    5. 5Paste a contract address into the search bar to trade instantly

    Quick Checklist

    • Pick one platform to learn first — don't spread thin
    • Start with $20–$50 until you trust the workflow
    • Set your slippage between 1–3% for normal tokens

    Pro Tip

Most operators run a combination of these: BullX for clean visual charts and research, Padre for serious multi-chain trades, and Trojan for ultra-fast browser execution.

    Step 03 · Safety Checks

    Check for Scams (Stay Safe!)

The golden rule of crypto: always check before you buy. A huge number of new tokens are traps designed to steal your money. Two free tools can spot most of them in under a minute.

    RugCheck — the safety scanner

Paste any token contract address and RugCheck instantly shows red flags: can the team freeze your tokens, can they mint more out of thin air, is the liquidity locked. A score of 'Good' is what you want.

    Bubblemaps — the wallet x-ray

Bubblemaps shows you which wallets hold the token. If 5 wallets own 80% of the supply and they're all connected, that's one person about to dump on you. Walk away.

    What 'safe' actually looks like

Liquidity locked or burned, mint authority revoked, no single wallet over ~5%, holders growing not shrinking. If even one of those is missing, size down or skip it.

    Quick Checklist

    • Run RugCheck on every new token before buying
    • Look at the top 10 holders on Bubblemaps
    • If anything looks off, the trade isn't worth it

    Warning

If a token has 'mint authority' still active, the team can print unlimited new tokens at any time. That's an instant skip.

    Step 04 · Wallet Maintenance

Clean Up & Claim Free SOL

Every time you trade a new coin on Solana, a tiny bit of SOL gets locked up behind the scenes to 'rent' space for that token in your wallet. Over months of trading this adds up — usually 0.1 to 0.5 SOL just sitting there.

    What Sol Incinerator does

It scans your wallet for empty token accounts and worthless spam tokens, deletes them safely, and refunds the locked SOL straight back to you. Takes one click.

    Why this matters

Most active traders recover between $5 and $50 worth of SOL the first time. It also clears out scam airdrops that clutter your wallet and can be dangerous to interact with.

    How often to run it

Once a month if you trade daily. Once a quarter if you trade casually. Always do it before moving wallets or going on a long break.

    Quick Checklist

    • Connect your wallet to Sol Incinerator
    • Review the list — uncheck anything you still want to keep
    • Approve the cleanup and watch your SOL balance go up

    Pro Tip

Never click on random tokens that appear in your wallet. Just incinerate them — some are scams designed to drain you when interacted with.

    Frequently Asked

    Common Questions

Do I need a crypto wallet to trade on Solana?

    +

Yes. Every trade on Solana is signed by your wallet. Without one (Phantom or Backpack are the standard picks) you can't connect to any trading platform or bot.

Is Phantom wallet safe to use?

    +

Phantom is the most-used Solana wallet and has a strong security record. It's safe as long as you download it from phantom.app, never share your seed phrase, and double-check every transaction before approving.

What is the best Solana trading platform for beginners?

    +

The three we trust: BullX (best all-rounder, web-based, clean charts), Padre (multi-chain pro terminal with advanced order types), and Trojan (Telegram bot for instant mobile trades). Most operators run a combination — BullX for research, Padre for size, Trojan for speed on mobile.

How do I check if a Solana token is a scam?

    +

Run the contract address through RugCheck for a safety score and Bubblemaps to see who holds it. If liquidity isn't locked, mint authority is still active, or a few wallets hold most of the supply — walk away.

Can I really get free SOL back from my wallet?

    +

Yes. Every token account on Solana locks up a small amount of SOL as 'rent.' Tools like Sol Incinerator close empty accounts and refund that SOL back to you. Active traders typically recover 0.1–0.5 SOL.

How much money do I need to start trading?

    +

You can start with $20–$50 worth of SOL. That's enough to learn the workflow without risking real damage. Scale up only after you've made and exited a few trades cleanly.
