## Overview Igra Attestation is a staking mechanism built into the Igra network that secures state validation through a lockup-based attestation model. Attesters deposit IGRA tokens into the Attestation Diamond contract, where those tokens remain locked for a minimum of 6 months. This mechanism serves as economic security for the network—attesters put capital at risk to validate and attest to the correctness of network state, and that capital is held in custody as collateral against misbehavior. The tool exists to formalize and enforce the relationship between token holders willing to provide
