## Overview Gate SOL (gtSOL) is a liquid staking token built on the Solana blockchain that enables users to stake SOL while maintaining liquidity and composability across decentralized finance applications. Rather than locking SOL in traditional staking arrangements, gtSOL holders receive a tokenized representation of their staked position that accrues rewards automatically. The token solves a fundamental constraint in proof-of-stake networks: the inability to use staked capital elsewhere while earning validation rewards. The tool exists because standard SOL staking requires capital commitment
