Base Bridge enables the transfer of certain digital assets and other data back and forth between Ethereum and Base.

## Overview Base Bridge is the official bridge infrastructure for moving assets between Ethereum and Base, a Layer 2 blockchain built on the Ethereum network. Base Bridge serves as a core infrastructure component managed by Coinbase, enabling users to deposit ETH and other supported tokens from Ethereum mainnet into the Base network, and to withdraw those assets back to Ethereum when needed.
